Where did "pillow fights" come from?
Some of the earliest "pillow fights" were described in Ancient Rome. During the February festival, the Romans symbolically used pillows instead of weapons to fight. This symbolised the expulsion of winter. Later, pillow battles were organised as entertainment at court feasts.
