Top tip, get two more curtain panels and double up, two on each side. Also, we’ve just had shutters fitted on three windows and they are fantastic 👍

Please get a water base for your tree! When the tree starts to dry out, it becomes a total fire hazard! It'll also keep your tree fresh for much longer!

The trick to drilling into brick is the drill bit and a hammer drill! I live in a double brick house and it’s the Masonary Drill bit you need! Also there is sometime framing around doors and windows that make putting curtains up harder than normal! Sometimes you need to be a certain distance from the window/door! Hope that helps!

I love the big snowman, I was wanting to knit one to go in one of our window displays but have yet to find a pattern i like. Ive knitted socks and currently doing another scarf but would like to do something festive. We spent a whole day last year going around all the shops looking for the right decorations for the theme i wanted, my other half thought i was crazy :D This year i have let him decorate and his going all out with colour and an 80's vibe with the foil decorations hanging from the ceiling.

Get another single linen curtain which is the same as the ones you have and contact a curtain maker and ask them to turn them into 1 and a half width curtains. That way they will cover the doors more and will look slightly fuller when they are pulled back. It will be way cheaper than getting made to measure ones. Also keep an eye on the tree because the heat from the radiator can sometimes kill it faster. Loving your videos recently

If you want your tree to last as long as possible make sure to have it sat in water at all times and also if possible move away from the radiator? Cannot beat a real tree - looks lovely! Can't wait to see the full kitchen reveal :)

Just a little word of advice. The Christmas tree is next to the radiator, it will die quicker from the heat and also be a fire risk x

It'll die quicker that's true, but it's not a fire risk at all. Radiators don't get boiling hot and even if you were to put 90° water in them, trees don't spontaneously combust when they're hot. A fire needs a spark. It is true that living trees don't burn easily though so the more water you give it, the worse it would burn, if you were to put a candle too close or smth. In my student apartment I used to put a small living tree in soil with root and all, and it once stood to close to a candle but didn't burn at all. Just got a black branch and smoked a lot. It's even alive today, I planted it in my garden. The fire department always warns us that trees brun sooo easily and quickly, but that only goes for dead, dry ones. You also see that when you want to burn garden trimmings, living wood doesn't burn, it causes a heck of a lot of smoke and needs some kind of accelerator.
