I know this is random...but something about Charlottes voice, mannerisms, movements, etc, is genuinely relaxing....every time you guys share videos like this one, sort of like found footage, or "B-roll" type stuff, I fall asleep to it....I love her voice, facial expressions, etc. If she were here today, I would be encouraging her to make an ASMR channel...she would help many people de-stress, and relax etc.

Watching you with Charlotte, Alex, I'm struck by the mother/daughter friendship you shared, a relationship that looked like it would have only strengthened if she were still here. This relationship is far from guaranteed! The mother/daughter bond is often one of the trickiest to navigate from what I've seen, and I often feel a pang when I see obvious mothers and daughters together having fun when I'm out shopping. I can imagine for you it must be particularly painful that you didn't get to experience the future fun that I'm sure you'd have had with Charlotte as you got older together. I remember you expressing this in one of your earlier videos. This is a terrible disease and I am so proud of you and Miles for continuing to raise awareness of it. It is beyond heartbreaking that Charlotte isn't here and I can't begin to imagine the scale of your loss. Sending you warmest wishes and hopes for 2022.

Happy New Year! I enjoyed watching this video of an amazing young lady. I started watching Charlotte when I was living and working in Denmark a few months before she passed. I am now a 60, almost 61 year old person. I am so very happy that you continue to raise $$ and awareness of this dreadful illness. I do hope that a cure is found in my lifetime. Bravo to you and your son!

I have been in great distress lately three deaths in my family this last month and a beloved tv star Betty White passed away. Life can end at such unexspecting Times. I don't know if this makes it better but at least you had an idea of when she would pass. It didn't just happen when she was fine of health.

Charlotte is my hero. I have a brain injury there is no treatment or cure for, that has changed how my body breathes and has by far made my life difficult to say the least. Oh my goodness Charlotte was so beautiful!! Inside and out! What an inspiration. She definitely deserved far better in this life.

Charlotte may have departed this life. She never really departed her family or all those here who were positively impacted by her courage. I can never really erase from my consciousness the impact her courage has has on my own life. Imagine if we had more like her. How much better would our communities be?

I just watched the video of her saying she had cancer and thought I'd see how she was doing, so sad she was a beautiful girl. My uncle had brain cancer and passed when I was 13 and it affected me ever since. My heart goes out to you both RIP Charlotte x

My parents cat went deaf in old age as well - he would march around muttering constantly and we reckoned that it was the feline equivalent of an old man grumbling ("Oh, i'm getting old y'know...my bones are aching and I can't climb like I used to and everyone is always muttering - I wish they'd speak up a bit! Did I tell you I'm getting old? I'll be ninety-eight soon...I remember when I was a fit youngster and I could climb tall trees, but the old legs ain't what they used to be...Why does everybody talk so quietly these days?!...Oh, my aching legs...Where's my food gone? These humans, they're a good bunch, but they don't know about getting old y'know...."). Best wishes to all of you, but especially to Nala who was so dear to Charlotte.

I really enjoyed seeing you guys in a more recent video, and send love and condolences for the passing of your dear kitty cat. I have a semi-educated theory about cats and purring. My partner and I had to say goodbye to our Rusty cat (a 17 year old orange tabby) last July. Rusty also purred less and less during his final year, by the way. I noticed over the years that the most vocal purring would come after his most active days. There's quite a bit of research suggesting that the frequency and vibrations produced by purring encourage and speed the healing of bones and soft tissue in felines. I wonder if the purring doesn't come, not only from contentment, but as an automatic biological reflex to help speed healing after our cats play hard, and as they become older and far less active, they just naturally don't need to do it as much. Just a theory from a half-crazy gay cat guy who sends lots of love from metro-Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
