We just celebrated my daughter 18th birthday at home because of lockdown but we had a great day. Now finishing getting ready for Christmas last few Christmas presents to wrap and Christmas food shopping to do. I had a silent night mattress and bed when I was younger and it was very comfortable. What lovely photos and party set up for your daughter. I used to give my kids a present on each other birthday but as they got older I don't do that anymore. Your daughter looks like she had a lovely birthday bless her. Brilliant video.

Awwww happy birthday for last week Erin! Since becoming a mum I like to wish my friends a happy birthing-day and get them a little bunch of flowers or something. My Dad always used to get my mum a bunch of flowers on mine & my sisters birthdays and since he’s sadly not with us any more my sister and I buy our mum flowers on each other’s birthdays! It’s such a special day for mummy’s and it’s not until you are a mummy you really appreciate it. Emma,im just on my room tidying up,I think if you swapped the bed over to the other wall and had you furniture on the wall where headboard is you would find it alot more calming. As yiu walk into yiur room you would be looking at your nice comfy bed and not all yiur stuff. .would look less busy its something I've done and made a huge difference xx

We have the same tradition with my two boys. They each get a present on the other one’s birthday. I hope they carry it on when they’re best friends as adults!!! (We can only hope and dream 😂)

I always used to get a present on my sisters birthday and vice versa! Didn’t think anyone else did it! I think they stopped when we got to teenagers but was still very much appreciated ☺️

My eldest turns ten on the 2nd of January and like you, I think we’ll be in another lockdown situation, so this was brilliant for me to give me some ideas and get myself organised. Going to have a look at doing the photos, I think that’s such a gorgeous idea, especially as they can keep it as a momento afterwards 🥰 Might even pinch the balloon idea as well to make it even more exciting! xx

Ahhh morning Rebecca. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm going to be honest. I still find it incredibly hard to think about my Nan. At the moment it's something that is locked away in my head and if she pops out I do have a little cry. Especially when photos come up on Facebook memories. And I know Christmas Day will be hard (especially for my Mum). I have had a Granddad and Nan that passed away when I was 18 and 30. So I can say that time really does heal. And also it's OK to feel sad sometimes. I have nice photos up of her which does help. Also remember we are in a pandemic. And that alone is very tough. I'm not sure where you are from but if you are in one of the higher tiers again that is going to impact on your mental health. When all this is over I am sure you will be able to heal a little quicker. It does get easier. Promise. Lots of love xxx

I know Stephen wouldn’t want to move the wardrobe following previous traumas (and who could blame him) but I do think that if you swapped your make up drawers and the wardrobe around you would have cleaner view from the bed and the room would not feel so cluttered ..... just a thought 😘
