Christmas Wreath Dot Mandala - Tutorial - Step by Step

Watch me paint this Festive Christmas Dot Mandala step by step... these videos are done to give you some inspiration to create your own personal designs...
I am intending to use this as a centerpiece for my Christmas table with a bowl in the middle filled with 'nibbles'... this type of design would also look great with a container candle in the middle for something a bit different...
Paints used in this video are DecoArt Americana paints in the colours of Festive Green, Glorious Gold, Bright Copper straight out the bottle and the brightest green is Pebeo Studio Acrylic in Iridescent Green Yellow that has been mixed with Pouring Medium at a ratio of 3 parts paint and 1 part pouring medium with a touch of water.
The board used here is a 29.5cm MDF round... The guidelines are drawn using a watercolour pencil... rings are 1cm apart and the lines are drawn using a protractor at 22.5 degree intervals... or, 16 segments... I pretty much make my designs up as I go along... I never have a plan... as you can see, I didn't use the guidelines in the middle... I do like to have them there just in case I need them...
The Ball Stylus Dotting tools I am using in the video are from the McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and the dotting rods are from Happy Dotting Company...

This is gorgeous. I bought an 18 inch birch wood circle to paint a wreath dot mandala for the front door at Christmas time. I will staple jute to the back to hang it. This video is the inspiration I need. I also make my designs up as I go along, but when I need to, I watch other videos or just look at other mandalas to get me going. I may need to buy another birch circle because the ideas are flowing now. Thank you.😊
