Hi there Eileen I am Brian Connors daughter Jenny Deane. I remember my dad writing this song many years ago along with many others he wrote about his favourite part of Ireland the North Antrim Coast. My family were great friends with Henry Andy and he did all the music for a little documentary about Henry many years ago... He has written some beautiful songs especially about Cushendun... Unfortunately my dad had a stroke about 12 years ago, and lost the power to speak and all the right side of his body... However he can still hum a great tune .. He is inspiration to us all and we see hoping to get a lot more of his beautiful words out there.. Good to see you have taken his song and respectfully covered it. Thank you

This is the latest music video from the great Eileen King, and she performs it beautifully. It's a wonderful song with excellent lyrics, and is an old favourite of mine. The song is about Rathlin Island, and was written by Brian Connors from County Antrim. Eileen comes from County Armagh, and is one of Ireland's best Country 'n' Irish artists.
