Beautiful story. Isn't He amazing?! I am a single parent. I named my daughter Shekinah (the glory of the divine presence). I had many struggles but she is a constant reminder that God is always with us and His love endures forever. I deserved to be punished but God showed mercy and grace by giving me a daughter that is very talented, loving, smart and has beautiful character. I was a christian for nearly 15 years, i thought i knew Him, i knew the Bible, i memorized the scriptures, i went to church, i was a "nice christian" if you are reading this, listen to me, this God is real! last year march, i woke up in the morning, the room was filled with God's love, i fell on my knees, i cried and surrendered my life! I remember when i first became a christian, I think I was 19, I am 60 now and still love the Living Word of God, there was a time in the beginning when the word of God brought feelings of condemnation and doom, I didn't understand why till later. The word of God is quick and powerful sharper than a two edged sword, therefore it cuts both ways, I needed to see the condemnation in His word in the beginning, then after I kept reading, just like that, magically I started to see who I was in Christ and it started making so much sense, it was breathing life to my soul and arousing my new Spirit, the Holy Spirit began bearing witness that I am a child of God, and now I walk in newness of life, in the Spirit of life in Christ, my life is hid with God in Christ. The word came alive and I started seeing all the blessings to the children of God, you and me, praise God. So I urge all my brothers and sisters in Christ to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly and He will direct your paths. His thoughts and desires become my thoughts and desires, AMEN! I am 60 years old now and His word still excites me and I am drawn to it, I delight in it. So don't be discouraged continue in His word, because it is the essence and substance of Jesus Christ himself. How marvelous.

I’m sitting here in the hospital right now 12/3/18 listening to this song, the chaplain said we should listen to this. First time I heard this I was in a jail cell. Alone. Had been getting slaughtered by the DA for months for things I hadn’t done. But in those months, God had been doing a good work in me. I’ll never forget hearing this for the first time. I was paralyzed with emotion. Then I wondered if I would ever hear it again on the one station I could get reception. Thankfully I did and it ministered to me each time I heard it. After having to ultimately serve out a five year sentence, this song still makes me cry every time. This is one of my FAVORITE songs and not just around the holidays. Do you ever hear a song that you just really feel? That is this song for me! I honestly just feel something deep in my soul when I hear it with all of my emotions exposed and even with a couple of tears trickling down my checks I sense God's love whirling all around me. In my community we just experienced the loss of sweet Athena Strand and although I did not know her after attending her candle light vigil last night in Paradise Texas as a mom myself, this song was just what I needed. Hi there, If you do not mind me sharing; the Sabbath was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Infact, sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV) will keep the 10 Commandments in the new heavens and the new earth including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per: Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV). Heb 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV); The word 'rest' is translated from the ancient or traditional Greek Manuscript word 'σαββατισμός' (Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for GOD'S people. I am not going to force you to keep Shabbat holy, however, if in disagreement over this matter, i highly encourage to do a study on it so as not to 'end up coming short in the end' (if above the age of accountability) as per: Heb 4:1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." My brother passed away last dec 30 2023 I was learning to hear Gods voice the beautiful Holy Spirit was telling me two months he wasn’t going to make it no one knew what was wrong he didn’t want to say I asked God don’t let him pass with his salvation two weeks before he passed I called him he was great I said the sinners prayer with him then he declined rapidly the lord took my brother his name is Noel I know he’s with Jesus

On 12/20/2020 I was going though a emotional time but when I Heard this song i immediately felt the love of the Lord around me and he made me remember my friend Ryan he died of brain cancer but on his deathbed he told me that the only reason why the Jesus gave him one more year of life was to show me and I was never alone when my mom dad but on 12/21/2020 I gave my heart to the lord.Ryan (10/7/1998-3/22/2012) R.I.P
