I could listen to Christophe talk for hours. Any movie he’s in is absolutely mesmerizing to hang on ever word. Especially in Django when he had such long monologues . Just realized I should see If he does audio books . Like if he started a cult I’d be in trouble cuz I would follow that voice anywhere!

As a Serb, I can confirm, we have crazy curses that are not always logically translatable (due to cultural meaning), that can go on and on in a sentence that can be as long as you want it or need it to be to express your emotion, we have double negation that is often used alongside a lot of adjectives. But, if someone goes that far in cursing, he/she is considered aggressive and primitive. P.S. I'm a big fan of Christoph Waltz, he's at another level really.

@@JadedKate No it's not. There's different accents, expressions and slang that gives different colors to the language, but French is French. English, Australians and Americans all speak English despite sounding a bit different, don't they ? And I believe they can all understand each other fairly well. Aside from slang and expressions, French Canadian understand the vast majority of what French say, despite the accent. Because in the end, it is still French. But strangely, some French don't understand French Canadians... at all. And of course, possibly foreigners speaking decent French too. And the explanation for that is simple ; the ones that don't understand don't because they are not even trying to and that superiority complex that makes them shake a finger at a foreigner for trying to speak a language, and a difficult one at that, that is completely foreign to them instead of being grateful for the effort is the same reason why they don't. Of course, there can be exceptions with some regional accents that may be hard to understand even for fellow French or French Canadian. But those are indeed exceptions.

I see that in Latin based languages. I find that when I stubble speaking Spanish, I’d get intimidated thinking that I would get ridiculed. But for the most part Spanish speakers encouraged me to keep trying and were just happy to see I had an interest in Spanish. I also found the more I started to understand spanish that other speakers aren’t perfect either and don’t always follow every rule in grammar so when I try to be perfect I sound unrealistic like a robot lol.

Don't worry, many French even do this with other native french speaker (from outside of France) too. It's as if an American would tell an Australian that he doesn't speak properly... The arrogance. I think learning a few basic words of the foreign country you are visiting is just a simple act of respect and therefore should be appreciated in return. It may not sounds perfect, but at least they're making an effort !

They are called 'spaghetti westerns' because they were low budget Italian movies. How does an actor not know that? 😎 (A Spanish movie reviewer gave them the name)

probably because he's Austrian/German.

He knows that of course. He meant that they should be called the real westerns, without the "spaghetti"

there is a reason there is a lot of libras... a lot of people believe in this stupid things instead of watching the data. The most common birth month in almost all the Northern emisphere is July, but the differences between the months are small, the difference between the most common and the less common months is around 1%.

Waltz was not impressed by that woman. And I’m glad. Also, I’m French and we even find parisiens to be rude af. People from the regions around are MUCH friendlier. France is not just Paris.

Why are they even doing this contrived interview format?

what's contrived about it? that's how all of our late night shows are in the UK - Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross. Is there any format that is not contrived considering everything is 100% always planned and nothing is ever a fluke, you know, since they're making a show and it doesn't fall out of the sky?

Christoph Walz probably the only actor who doesn't whitens his teeth. Random thought, but it's kind of refreshing to see a normal face! ^^

are you american? very few english actors and actresses have white teeth as well or any country that isn't america. would you say it's refreshing if it was a woman?

@@bluebellbeatnik4945 I'm from Germany. Well i think there are also actors and actresses in Germany that whiten their teeth, but i don't watch german tv so much, so maybe i've seen more American movies the last time... Yes i think i would say it's refreshing also with women. It's just refreshing to see the reality of not naturally white teeth and the reality of aging and not hiding it you know? And i say that as someone who hasn't very white teeth naturally, so it's refreshing to see that its indeed normal that not everyone has white teeth and you also don't have to have them... i would not say that i find not white teeth more beautiful, but it just reflects the reality...

When you are interviewing mr Waltz do two things - Let him speak & And bring him on the show Solo P.S. Spaghetti Westerns were coined bca the Italians were so good at churning out Western movies - on a large scale due to Sergio Leone and easy to get horses and women to act 😀 besides they do know how to make the best Spaghetti Pasta Pizza in the world ❤
