When Jimmy says he is the only one who hates the 80's, Waltz is saying the 80's were bad and people who didn't hate them like him don't remember them well enough. His way of turning it back on jimmy and saying in that case i'm the only intelligent one.

He is not underrated and is quite respected in the industry. What is going on is that he is being typecast which is a shame but I still think he will win another Oscar.

My favorite part about Quentin will always be how unapologetically excites he is about his work. Waltz describing what it’s like to read a script in front of him makes him seem like such an eager kid at heart that it’s no wonder everyone who works with him loves him. They did another interview and that one was painfully awkward, about the 4th of July I think, which is a shame, since Kimmel usually does interviews well. I think the topic of conversation plays a huge role in how the interview goes. Kimmel did a really good job in this one, but the other one was... not good.. but I think that one was also deleted from his youtube page and re-uploaded by someone else.
