@@cluvsonj I know about the movie. His "fame" rests on a movie I never saw. It's the kind of movie I would never have any interest in watching -- a hetero romance. The only thing I saw him in were a few episodes of Dallas, in which he had a role that was so forgettable, I forget what it was.

The original Blue Lagoon of 1946 was said to leave out a lot of then-controversial parts of the book regarding intimacy and nudity or semi-nudity or such related factors. The one made years after with Brooke Shields did very much the opposite and stayed truer to the storyline because the movie makers wanted it to be more risqué and thus get more of an audience because of the controversy.

Met him in West Hollywood and he was so kind and gracious. A smile and humbleness that far exceeds his success .

I saw “The Pirate Movie” when it came out because I was a fan of Christy McNichol. I thought it was a fun movie. Siskel and Ebert didn’t like it…but it was not made for them. So, 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was 15 in the 70s I never saw anything wrong with nudity. Male nudity. As a male I see nothing wrong with it. I was 9 yrs old and was my dad naked. I was fascinated with the size and hair. I thought it was great. Throughout my life I loved nudity. I was and I am well built male. We have a full nude showing all on canvas. The picture was printed on canvas at Walmart. It's hanging in our family room. Men and women of all age's should be proud of being naked. I have visited nude beaches and enjoyed the beauty of men and women nude.My son was raised not to be ashamed of nudity. He learned theirs a time and place for nudity. My sin has seen me naked Throughout the yrs of growing up. My son is a well adapted educated adult. I'm a successful man and my wife is educated and successful. We are a normal upper middle class family. ❤

People are so hung up with male nudity. I guess it goes back to the Garden of Eden and Adam and Steve.

You guys should do a video about movies and tv shows that flopped at first but became popular years later. Or even ones that were just mediocre at first, such as the original Star Trek.
