Nice job Tanner Holmes. Kept it clean and got some valuable seat time with some top notch drivers and cars.

Since Tony Stewart took over this series it has gotten so much better. Many of their top drivers in recent years have beaten the Outlaws, with Tyler Courtney taking the ultimate prize last weekend in Eldora.

That may be a "step down" When you put up $350,000 prize money in one day on the WoO schedule. Then an All Star & an independent splits it, who's series has the most talent? Best an outlaw could do was run 2nd for $20,000, then be stripped of it at the scales.

@@camse7en What part of my comment is delusional? The term "Outlaw" was derived to describe a guy who drops in for a big race, takes the money from the locals, then leaves. Coming to a track you've never seen. Race against guys you've never competed against. Then beat them on their home field advantage & crowd is special. I only did it twice. Both times were more fulfilling then I expected. You feel like somebody. People look at you with *_"Who the phuq is this guy?"_* expressions. The Outlaws seem to have increasing difficulty personifying that description in California, Pennsylvania & Ohio. Expect more schedule dates in Canada & Mexico.

How is it these guys can jump in a sprint 4 or 5 times a year and spank the guys who drive them 3 or 4 times a week? That should'nt be. Your not coming into a east coast modified race 4 or 5 times a year and beat our best. Don't get me wrong i root for the underdogs. Last year kyle did it 70 times. Very impressive crew chief's to set up a sprint for driver then set fastest lap, win heat, then the feature. Bowing down to you Chris and crew chief. You win in just about everything you strap into.

East Coast modifieds? Aren't they kinda slow?

Do you really think Bell just by random got a seat in a Cup car? No. He won national level midget and sprint car races before Nascar. This isn't a new gig to him.
@JohnnieWalkerDread3 жыл бұрын
@@jarrettbank These decisions often come down to marketing. They see Chris Bell as someone who can win some races and sell some products. They want young kids with a lot of camera appeal. It's the same reason why Jeff Gordon was elevated to NASCAR some 30 years ago. Of course, that decision worked out great for the race team.
