The first time I ever heard of Christopher Cross was at the first Texxas Jam at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, 1978. Google it. I was there, front and center for 16 hours. His place in the lineup was between Foreigner and Journey. Foreigner rocked us, we were all hyped up for Journey, and here comes CC. I kid you not, 100,000 people sat down. They played maybe three songs and were done. That always colored my view of this band, fairly or not.

In this episode of Brad & Lex, Brad presses play then light percussion, a driving piano and strings beckon his "sway" while Lex gradually warms to her desired temperature producing her "dust devil bop" which makes way for the brief debut of her "doggy paddle bop".
