Great gift, thanks! By the way, when you can, please emend the surname of Edward into the correct "Upward". I am an Edward Upward scholar and I used to personally know him. But, I repeat, this is really a good offer for a 1930s lover as I am! :)

Certainly the most courageous and honest English writer of the last century - not the best- but all you have to do is ONE thing well (he wrote 2!), his libido, if Finney's bio is to be believed, merits a monument on Trafalgar Square! Mind you, RUTHLESS too! Well...
