Christopher McQuarrie is our generation's John McTiernan, a humble artist who allows his work to do the talking. I firmly believe 'Dead Reckoning' will be the turning point that firmly establishes him as one of the greats, and certainly one of the most lucrative. Even films he didn't direct, but had a hand in, like 'Top Gun: Maverick', turn out to be undeniable successes. He's on an upward trajectory, improving with each project. The man seems unstoppable!

This movie was such an adrenaline rush! I absolutely loved it! I really appreciate that Chris and Tom put so much effort into developing the characters, because it really helps elevate every scene and whatever they're doing. I also enjoyed how the stakes were constantly being raised (kinda reminded me of "Top Gun: Maverick" in that way). I thought the new characters were great; I loved Paris and how she's a little "unhinged", and I liked how there were multiple parties involved and not just an obvious "good guys and bad guys". And of course, a lot if great action set pieces! This movie was so inspiring to me in many ways; I appreciate the effort Tom and Chris put into their craft, and it makes me wanna work harder on my own craft (music), and this movie makes me wanna be an action hero and train harder in my workouts. I can't wait for "Part 2"!

This is the BEST Mission: Impossible movie ever. Has the light touch and sense of fun of Rogue Nation but the high, worldwide stakes of Fallout. The sense of pacing was incredible and the movie was full of clever and fascinating ideas.

@@Bingchilling11 I'm not a hater! I like the Christian message in Reckoning. Cross = key to destroying "amoral nationless enemy" Oy vey! But it's still a goofy messy film in a lot of ways

Not horrible man it was okay mission impossible movie solid 7/10 . the movie need to cut at least 25 minutes and put 2 more action scenes and the plot was good very new to MI universe. I hope MI 8 is a full action packed movie with intense clock time kinda situation like MI 6 and closing Ethan hunt storyline arc will be good for me personally. Tom cruise and Chris need to move on from MI movies and do something new like a Oppenheimer film genre or science fiction film a drama crime film a comedy please do something new i will support it just put some effort people are tired of sequels.

She's just this version's movie of the bruiser henchman, a James Bond tradition. Like the tall guy Tom fights in the rafters in Rogue Nation or the one Ilsa knife fights in London. She served her function properly.

heres the thing, i notice , its good, but same old crap, half a key, hmmmmm , where did i just see that , TRANSFORMERS, HALF A KEY.....mission impossible, another key, the club scene, hmmmmm where did i just see that???? JOHN WICK, ALSO DESERT SCENE ON HORSES, WHERE DID I SEE THAT?? JOHN WICK. lazy writing, boring/// yeah cool stunts, alot of the same AND THAT SCENE AIRPORT, YEAH WHEN YOUR UNDER THAT AMOUNT STRESS ITS EASY TO JUST FIGURE OUT ALL THOSE RIDDLES ON THE SPOT/
@fashion_fckyou Жыл бұрын
This movie was shot in the beginning of 2020 before John wick 4 was start shooting in June 28, 2021 they didn't copy anything from it . the horse riding was tom idea because he went to ride a horse instead of motobike in desert that's look at the interview they explain it. I agreed this movie was weak compere to MI 6 because of the two part storyline and to long but it is a solid 7/10 on action movies scale but 5/10 on MI movies scale that sucks because I am a big fan of mission impossible films. they need to cut time in the next one and put more action scenes and create intense moment that put Ethan hunt character in intense situations like MI 6 at the end the fight with the helicopter it's look fucking Real and cool.
