nice music but charles omweris melodious voice is swallowed up by christopher monyonchos voice,,charles had the best male voice ever in kenyan benga music, i thing it was a prudent move for him to cross over from kegogi and form his own machoge one jazz band, it was the first band from our area bomachoge clan, in machoge omweri became the best musician from kisii outshining both king monyoncho and john arisi o sababu in popularity .

I'll correct you on something however. Charles Omweri wasn't a vocalist. Instead, he used to play first rhythm, while Osiemo bw'Ayunga was the main vocalist. The voice you are describing is that of Osiemo. Charles was popular for being a great bandleader, song writer, arranger and rythmist. You combine His leadership and talent with osiemo's iconic voice and you have something out of this world.
