Grew up watching the animated series Madeline and he narrated it. I never heard his name again until his 2009 movie 9 where he voiced the character Number 1. From that point on I kept my eyes open for his upcoming movies. Loved his movies Remember, Wolf, and Knives Out. Christopher Plummer was a Canadian Treasure he will be well missed.

I will always remember him as that guy in 'The Sound of Music', with Julie Andrews. That movie came out in the year I was born. He was also a Kingon in the movie: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, where he played General Chang. Chang used a cloaked Bird of Prey ship to frame the Enterprise.
