The design on the Isle of Man coin is not a sand castle it's the Tower of Refuge, 2017 was the 1st year of that design.

13:02 The socalled permanent markers are not very permanent at all on things like metal and glass, so there won't be any damage done. Try writing on one and keep it in your own pocket for a week or so and see how long it lasts if at all.

Little interesting piece of info for as you've found a Isle of man £2coin. If you go onto Google earth and look at the Isle of man (with North up) go down to the South-West bit of the coast (roughly) there's a small island there, zoom in and cut into the ground is the Isle of man emblem (the three legs) its quite big!

In reference to which way the design sits, hold the queens head upright then spin the coin 180 degrees. You will have your design upright too.

Love, love, love IOM coins....have just recently bought a 1985 proof set which I will look at in a future video. Saying that the back log of videos I have too edit and new coins I have to film will mean the date of the IOM coin set will probably be around 2051 and will be in 16k halogram vision

I love the Isle of Man coinage, that £2 peice is lush. They always sale for more than face as well, so a great find. You are right about the copper coinage: a self service machine gave me 4 Isle of man pennies today, all 2003 and with full mint luster. Straight into the collection! I have the complete set of 3 Shakespeare £2 coins (including the comedy one). I pulled all 3 out of circulation in 2017. Something is telling me that the comedy one is incredibly rare: the sheer volume of coins you hunt and you haven't found one. Yet. Oh yeah, at 10 minutes 38 seconds into your video, I believe that you flipped past a dud £2 peice and missed it. Yep, sadly the fakes are circulating widely nowadays. The once state of the art £2 coin is vulnerable to the counterfeiters. Keep up the good work and l love your hunt videos.
