a solution would be the Samyang 12mm f/2.8 for Canon EF mount and a Meike mk-efte-c adaptor on a Sony e-mount camera.

Watched through to the end, great stuff! Christopher you must take a look at the Meike 33mm f1.4 for apsc cameras. I've found virtually zero issues with my copy. People need to know about this one!

Hello, Chris👋 Are there any plans to review the new Tamron 90mm macro? Also I think I have a good suggestion. Since close-up sharpness is very important for macro lenses, it seems to me that testing lenses on a coin does not give a complete picture of sharpness, since you do not see the result at the edges of the frame. Yes, usually sharpness at the edges is not so necessary for macro, but sometimes lenses are used for technical needs where necessary. I have an idea how to make the test more informative. You need something quite flat with a fine texture, it seems to me that the reverse side of the bierdeckel will work well (they are all different, but some have a suitable texture from below) or something similar. Of course, in order for the test to be correct, you need to perfectly align the lens perpendicular to the object, but this is very easy - you need to put a small flat mirror on a flat object that we will photograph, close the aperture a bit, shine a flashlight and position the central focus point in the very middle of the aperture blades in the reflection, voila:)

Tried the 10mm for Fuji earlier this year. Sent it back as focusing and aperture was incredibly stiff.

I still have my dslr and samyang fish eye. If you traded in for mirrorless, this seems to be the chance to buy one again.

Is this lens stereographic fisheye projection ? Doesn't seem like it from your photos but not sure.

Does this lens feature fluorescent markings or not? I've seen a rumor it has, is it true? Thanks 👍

My question is if I owned both an apsc and a full frame, should I get the 7.5mm or spend a bit extra and get this?

Is there a difference between 7artisans 10mm fish, ttartisan 11 mm fish and whatever other brands of similar looking things are out there? They all look the same and get the same reviews.

They put out a call for reviewers for this lens, to which I applied, and got refused because my pictures are too stylized to properly show up the lens characteristics. To be fair, it makes sense, but also this is a very stylized lens. Not trying to s*it on the brand or anything, just sharing a personal interaction, and I actually like how quickly they responded to the e-mail, and clearly took the time to see my work.
