Every time I think of you or watch you or hear you, I cry ! My late grandfather saw you at the Festival Hall in London in 1977, I waited up all night for his return to Herefordshire to have news of how great your concert was ! We talked until late dawn about how brilliant and talented you are. RIP Grandad and Glen....You both live on for me through your music Glen.

Nice post. I saw Glen Campbell on 10/27/12 in PA with my wife and 3 kids (son 12, daughter 10, son 5). From what I could see, I think our kids were the only ones in the crowd. I have been a fan of Glen Campbell since I was 10 years old - when Rhinestone Cowboy made its debut. I wanted my kids to have the chance to see a legend - and what a legendary performance it was. Victoria Ghost (a band led by 3 of his kids) opened for Glen - WOW. Clearly the legend will live on through his kids.

Just watched this evening with Glen Campbell. So lovely and so sad to think he is now in a care home and has lost everything. Thank you Glen - We will always remember you. Bea

It's okay. He didn't lose everything. He left lots of dollars for his family. And he could play his guitar almost to the last. I think the last year was the bad one. I saw him perform on his final tour. And he was exceptional! No mistakes

I had not finished previous comment! ...Thank you....for the posts of the 1977 concert. I must say I do not usually like all songs by an artist but Glen Campbell makes it an exception to the rule! I must say he would be my desert island disc choice! My husband and I are looking at you tube videos of interviews and performances that we have missed over the past few decades! we like all of it! So pleased his children are involved in music too. You are so right in saying he is a legend.

I"ve been a Glen fan since I was a kid and I've never seen this. So great!! Such a huge talent...God. Thanks for posting. Love to see him do his Sinatra thing...looks weird without a guitar in his hands, but what a great singer. I will remember him forever.

Thank you for your suggestions of you tube videos of Glen Campbell. the 2001 concert is very good indeed. I especially enjoy the "true grit" version. Enjoy all of Glen's performances at any stage of his life. Thank you again for your posts and replies. It is such a shame these concerts are not available to buy on DVD.

This concert was originally shown on HBO way back in the 1979 1980 time period. Watched it everytime it came on. Glen Campbell and Time Warner are Co Holders of The Home Video Rights to this concert. I personally would like to see this digitally remastered and remixed in HD for Blu Ray in both 5.1 and 7.1 DTS HD Loss Less Master Audio Surround Sound.

Totally besotted, so is my husband! would love to be able to buy the DVD of this concert. Love his version of "If you go away" ( Ne me quitte pas, Jacques Brel) Gentle on my mind was familiar too , Claude François sang it!: "Si douce a mon souvenir." I am French! Thank you for posting this video. Best wishes to Glen.

I just watched a neat Glen Campbell video: Search "Glen Campbell - Blue Moon Of Kentucky - Star Route" on KZbin. Shame we all have to get old. I would guess it is 1962 or 1963 vintage footage.
