Amy, probably one of the best "Hey let's add a kid to the show" characters.

That's because she ties in with the whole "dealing with a dysfunctional life and family" theme of the show. Later episodes reveal that her mom's a drug addict who rarely takes care of her (and did drugs when she was pregnant with Amy), her real father could be anyone, her stepfather is an abusive alcoholic, and the allegedly clean-cut man who cared for her as a child molested her and threatened her to keep it quiet.

I've said from the start and for many years this was a modern Recreation of All in the Family, without ripping that show off one bit. The very end of this episode, for a brief moment, Titus turns into Archie Bunker. In the most positive tribute kind of way. Fantastic episode. One of the show's best.

By far my favorite episode. I’m not exactly sure why. It may have been the sarcasm, it may have been the line delivery, it may have been the tone within that line delivery. But it was fantastic. (The wonderful acting by all involved goes without saying). Everyone looks like they had a lot of fun with this episode. :)

It started out in the highly-rated _SNICK_ block, but moved to Sundays within a month of the show's debut. It was canceled after eight episodes, with the full 13-episode order airing internationally. The problem was that the lead character was a generic white guy, when the highest-rated live-action shows had female leads.

@@johnny-becker The only episodes that were temporarily banned were The Wedding (because it had Titus' mom getting slapped in the face by her boyfriend after they argued about whether or not she's been taking her medication) and The Protector (because it dealt with Amy accusing the man who took care of her of sexually molesting her while her parents were in jail and rehab). I think the two-part finale where Titus has a mental breakdown over his mom's suicide was about to be temporarily banned, but Titus convinced FOX to air it.
