Hardwork produces excellence
@juliusakrong1465 жыл бұрын
Just finished watching - Sounds more motivational to me than spiritual. It addresses the flawed reliance on grace, which is good, but over-emphasises works as a determinant for excellence, omitting the role grace plays in helping to address and overcome the challenges encountered in the actual process of working to produce excellence. Grace continues to provide sustenance during our work process or experience; and this is where it is most needed. Without it, we will burn out, as most Christians do, whenever we forget the need for God's grace to keep us going on, to achieving the excellence we desire. God's grace should always be our motivation no matter how hard we are working. An excellent outcome, truly attributed to God and not to our efforts, can be achieved only through a continual acknowledgement of God's grace, right from the beginning through to the end of any endeavor, knowing that God is the author and finisher in all things concerning His children - Thanks

He is not downplaying Grace. If you don't put in the work, there is no way you will ever achieve excellence. This is practical. We as Christians should start working. The grace is there for us. If you don't work, you will br useless. There is no excellent person without works

Thank you for your perspective. Work is great, but can only produce excellence when grace is upon the works. There is a mysterious interplay that the believer must understand. Slothfulness manifests only when a child of God tramples grace underfoot. Grace propels us to labour. Grace works. Grace provides the fertile ground for works. It is all of grace!
