I know it’s common in French churches that the cantor conducts, but the man here is obnoxious in how he does it. Should be much more simple.

Cathedral is huge... He must be see by everybody... so he has no choice

@@guillaumepernet7745 or he doesn't have the conduct at all. I've been to many cathedrals, some even the same size, and the cantor just puts one hand up to tell people to chant along and then immediately puts his hands down

It's the french, what can you do. There are more than 15,000 people here, and it's hard to direct with a little wand at the pulpit
