It's things like cinnamon and menthol. They make your lips tingle and bringing more blood flow to your lips temporarily. Which also helps give that more red, plump look

I took it off once it started burning and they continued to burn an hr after I had taken it off. The next day they were swollen. I might be allergic to whatevers in lip plumpers, but oh my god never again it was so painful"

try the COLOURPOP glowing lip! theres many shades to choose from and it's very buildable, but still pigmented with just 1 swipe. Still sheer but you can easily see a difference first hand. :D
