This broke me. I have been in such torment lately. The moment that got me the most was about being a failure. When I asked myself if God says I’m a failure I couldn’t say yes. I truly felt like I had proof until this moment today. 😮. There is so much healing truth in this conversation. I’m gonna go through the other lies I’ve believed like I can’t hear from God. Thank you so much for posting this, It's honestly been a minute since I've seen one of these videos but I made a decision to feed myself and I've got to say I'm grateful God put it in front of me 💘🙏🏼 I needed this much more than I could even tell beforehand. I'm receiving so much from this video that I needed to hear and was just actually asking Him about before the video, you can imagine how I feel as a Christian first and a transman second, I never hear the end of it by other Christians but i never stop praying for their well-being and my own wisdom and clarity in Him, I truly believe He loves me and died for my sins and I don't want to spread anything that isn't true but I want everybody who's been told they're going to hell to know that they have a choice because Jesus made it so, that's what I believe.

For the longest, I mean up until maybe a little while ago I believed the lie that my mother doesn’t love me from a very, very young age. Because of this lie of rejection, my life was shaped around it. I always felt rejected and unloved and no matter how someone would try and love me, I could not receive it. It costed me so much! Relationships, friendships, opportunities, and ultimately led me into works-based religions because ultimately I began to believe God didn’t love me and I had to be perfect to be loved! 😔 this episode helped me face and challenge those lies

Hello! Thank you! I have a lot of bad thoughts each day and I don't even know if they really come from me or not. They suddenly pop up and they're very often impure. I could believe it's totally normal because I'm a man. But maybe they don't even come from me. I don't know what to think about those thoughts. But if these thoughts really come from me, I ask the Lord for forgiveness. I don't want those thoughts. I didn't ask them to come.

I have started to use this video as homework with client's who are struggling with low esteem and negative thoughts. Everyone! Please know that your thoughts are not always real, as the ladies said, hold it up against the love God has for you. Anytime I doubt myself, I tell myself that I am a daughter of THE KING. I was born with purpose and value! I do have a podcast called "MissionDorothy," where I give you real strategies to build self esteem, a higher quality of life and live authentically. I recently felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit to create Christian affirmations to help me stand firm on Gods word of who I am in Him and it’s becoming a beautiful way to start my morning. I needed to hear this…I was diagnosed with postpartum depression with psychosis back in January. I was hospitalized for 1 week and the night I was sent home, my husband said he wanted to divorce me…he took the kids and he left. Since then I’ve lived with a lot of shame and guilt praying God to see the purpose behind everything…I’ve been believing so many lies from the enemy about who I am. Please pray for me. I’m currently battling my kids custody till this day.🙏🏻

I kept avoiding this topic as it was on my timeline a few times this past week, I have been dealing with a lie that a spiritual mother didn't love me. Then God showed me all they do to show it and others that have been like spiritual mothers an he had one simply come to my job , take me to pick up chic fil a and home and she begin to say I want you to know you are always on my mind. She just basically was like busyness is the thing that stops her from always reaching out. Those two individuals both answered a prayer or thought that reminded me God sent them. Lisa was way off base here. The kind of suffering she talks about is self-inflicted, which is not of God, true. But as Christians, we will suffer according to God's will for us, as He deems best, in order for us to get to know Him better, His will, and to get our eyes off of self. Yes, He suffered for us. But that in no way means that we will not suffer in this life. From Joseph, to Noah, to Jonah, to Job, to Jesus' disciples (and many others in the Bible) God's children always endured some sort of suffering, whether it was for a season, how they died, or what have you.

I can't undersatnd some of this. Ever since I 'fell", it is very hard coming back. I have a thirst for justice and find it very hard to love and trust others. That doesn't mean I am not merciful and kind to elderly women and children. But most of society is worthless trash. In Paradise Lost, the devil said it rightly. "the people you love and want to save, god of light, will turn on you and forget you and wont' love each other. Better to rule with a hammer and that expect to to learn to love you or each other. Fear breeds respect and obedience." I don't believe that totally, but I understand his motivation for what he did. But then he did his Pride thing and thought he could do better than god. Overreaching Ambition.

Growing up i was bullied alot. I use to believe all the lies spoken to me. But the day i met Jesus i sée a whole new and true story .. God sends messages to me every day! I see hearts pop up be it a leaf, flower, a crack in the road, oil spill, detergent spell, and the list goes on.they all formed a heart. How can she not know it...that her husband loved her?I have a hard time with this. It HAS GOT to be, that her hunches were right. If I was a husband, I would MAKE SURE, that several times a day, I affirm that "i love you honey..", or I would make compliments about her hair or dress. IT SOUNDS LIKE, by what she says [ story of her wearing her hot track suit ] That her husband didn't notice her or realize his wife NEEDED TO HEAR loving compliments. I suggest that Christy Wright is too protective and defending of her husband.

Actions speak louder than words, Western people have a habit of saying "I love you" without actually loving the person, so it is just a habit. How many people say they love their husband or wife after abusing them or cheating. In Eastern culture, the parents don't say I love you, but they show it by making sacrifices and providing so their children can have a better life. The enemy can deceive you with words, so you have to pray for truth and ask for discernment. The enemy wants Christian couples to break up because that makes room for the enemy to come in. She is not being "Too protective" of her husband, she is recognizing the strategy of the enemy and refused to give him power over her mind and marriage. If you choose to believe that someone does not love you then there is nothing that they can do to convince you. It wasn't his fault, she needed to get out of her mind.
