@@deotic its just the easiest to say. Paul can come off to informal. Levesque is a hard last name to say. HHH orTtriple H is a hassle. while the game or the boss is more of a wwe informal title then a name Hunter is just Hunter. everyone knows who their talking about when they say hunter and its not informal as it was one of his stage names. easiest name with no strings. also on a side not even with kfab being not as prevalent as it was before its still rare to see people call others by their real name be it on or off stage for shows, interviews etc. especially if its last names. this even gos for some retires and x wrestlers.

People seem to forget that in the early 2000s, after Wrestlemania 21 Big Dave and John Cena were the two faces of the Ruthless Aggression era. I remember as a kid, whenever I'd see WWE merch I'd see him and Cena on that merch. Obviously Cena went on to become the bigger name but Dave was a close second to him during that time period (2005-2009) Literally loved every run he's had in WWE. Been a huge fan of Dave ever since I was a kid. Great to see him make it in Hollywood. Dude hustled hard to reach the legendary status he reached in wrestling and now in Hollywood. With Cena retiring next year, it's only fittin Big Dave goes into the HoF that year too.

Oh man I am so glad he holds wrestling so dear in his heart and that he went out like he wanted to. I would give a kidney for one more Batista match but hearing him say this makes it all good. CVV, you got to get him on a 1 hour interview, Batista has so much to say, I bet.

I like the fact that Batista stays true to his word, and says that he's happy with ending his pro wrestling career the way he did, because he went out the way he wanted to. Like he said in this interview, a lot of wrestlers don't get to decide when to quit, because it's often the result of an injury that forces them to stop wrestling.

Bautista was my favorite back then as a kid because his gimmick was "The Animal". And as a kid who grew up loving animals, it was simple and stuck with me.

In 2003, I tore my UCL playing baseball and went to Dr. James Andrews's facility in Birmingham, AL for Tommy John surgery. A month after the surgery, I had to return for a follow-up. I was in a very large room (about the size of a basketball gym) where many athletes (professional and amateur) were also there for follow-ups or rehabilitation. I was placed in the middle of the room to wait on Dr. Andrews and 10 feet from me was Dave Bautista, who was also there for a follow-up from when he had torn his right triceps right after he had just joined Evolution in WWE. He was the largest human being I had ever seen up-close at that time, easily over 300 lbs with biceps that were damn near the size of my head. Before checking on me, Dr. Andrews asked Bautista to do some triceps warm ups with the free weights nearby, so this dude goes over there and I shit you not, grabbed a 100 lb dumbbell and casually did a set of kickbacks. I didn't understand true strength until I witnessed that. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to talk to him, but I'll never forget that moment.

Did Batista tell how he tore his triceps? Stories vary, Batista says Bubba ran into his arm that caused tear. But Dudley boyz say that Batista tore his tricep when he mushed Bubba in the face.
