Comedian Mike Reid joins Les as they portray two characters in a hilarious send-up of the popular TV series Big Deal. Les pays a return visit to Children's offers more strange delights. A feast of stunning singing impressions is in store as Joe goes 'country and western'. While Parky and Harty find time for a little song and dance.
The guest comedian this week is the zany, popular, young entertainer Billy Pearce.

If I remember it was only 1 series Les Dennis done after Dustin passed. Would later this year Les became host of Family Fortunes. His impression of Phillip Schofield as Kiwi was funny and also promoting ITV shows

Basically the same show, but there’s a real sadness about this, without Dustin Gee. The same theme song, even the same farewell - “good night, good night, good night”, but it just doesn’t work. Particularly as Dustin was the better impressionist.

(fellow Scouser here) If there were ever a reason to ditch the licence fee, Les was it. I've read his autobiography 'must the show go on?' and its a brilliant read. He is a pretty humble man who self admittedly seemed constantly out of his depth and seemed to leech off the talent of his friends and colleagues - once alone he was pretty unfunny as a comic and I feel very sorry for him watching these old shows. Tragic. But people must appreciate that in his, ahem, 'heyday' Les regularly got about 10 million viewers as there was nothing else on the other three channels. He was not talentless, but his brand of family friendly entertainment is long dead, in a world now dominated by hundreds of other channels where punters can turn over and watch shark week instead. I like Les but he is no comedian. He is much better as a serious actor.
