Great advice thank you Chris. I had a few missed days on the Inktober Challenge and am just getting my head around doing the catch-up pictures. You've motivated me. : -) Much appreciated!

Hi Chris, thanks for responding. My Instagram account is ra_mise Any feedback you can give me would be appreciated...It's been a great process, I've learnt a lot and certainly gained some courage to expose my art to the world, which I've avoided for years. I'm open to any constructive criticism. : )

you are an inspiration to me to keep trying to draw my comics. thanks I'll never give up but how do you fit your drawings in the little comic panels
@ChrisWhartonArt7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kittia! I am so glad what I do helps to inspire you :) As for your question, comics are generally drawn larger than they are printed. for example the average american comic is printed at roughly 10 inches tall by 7 inches wide per page, but its drawn on a page that is 17 inches tall by 12 inches wide, which helps us fit all the details in. TRADE SECRETS!!!!! Sorry it took so long for your answer :P

Ever drew on lined and/or graph paper, when you can't afford any art paper or sketch books?
@ChrisWhartonArt8 жыл бұрын
Yep, definitely used it for sketch paper. Its actually handy for sketch paper when you want to also take notes about the things you're drawing. I've never used it for any professional finished work though.
