Hi Chris! I’ve been listening to this album since it came out back in 2014. My favorite track from this album is Cylinder Five. I like how the vibe of the piece sets you in the mood for Astronomy and exploring space. Great work on this album, can’t believe it’s going to be 10 years old soon!

i honestly dont know if its just me but a lot of your music gives me hostile alien invasion vibes. a lot of your music feels like it could perfectly slip into one of the XCOM games, the kind of music that is still music whilst also somehow being ambient sound at the same time in a chilling but awe inspiring way. that slow eerie build up of sinister hums in cylinder 7 for example in my mind is directly supplimented with the imagery of a small scout UFO patrolling over a small farm town, nobody knowing of the etra terrestrial horror looming above them, just waiting for the opportunity to dominate and suppress our planet. Honestly little side tangent, i find extra terrestrial horror to be such an underrated and underexplored category, so many alien films focus on the threat of human extinction or the alien is a glorified monster... so few focus on the true horror from the idea of a hyper intelligent species lurking in the shadows conducting horrifying military operations against civilians. The scariest thing about alien invasions to me isnt the idea of an open alien invasion, a global threat but its more the idea that we're already invaded and we just dont know it, there already looms an alien threat, the war has been going on for years and only the highest governments know about it whilst the civilian population is largely ignorant to that fact. This idea makes for an amazing concept, its so easy to just have more little green men in rubber suits but a true alien invasion horror that really focuses on the secrecy and the scope of the situation would be.... terrifyingly awesome, and in such a movie this music would fit perfectly. your music can be both calming and terrifying, upbeat yet sinister and i love it.

Remember those little Cylinders with pins in the old wind-up music boxes? I always wished they would run longer. Apparently, so did you. 👍👌 Now, I'm imagining the outer shell of a cylindrical space habitat, many miles across and six times longer, like a ship on the great cosmic ocean. It looks like it has lots of pins, too. Just rolling out the beautiful, peaceful music. Keep up the great work. And thanks to John Michael Godier for listing the source for his soundtrack on Event Horizon.
