Well, Kirk is an amazing guitarist. He may not be the fastest shredder but he definetly has an ear for music
@Anthony-nk4ky5 жыл бұрын
@@metalupyourass9114 well he used to. The solos off hardwired were pretty lame. I was actually super disappointed since there was some really great tracks on that album that could've used some classic hammet solos
@metalupyourass91145 жыл бұрын
@@Anthony-nk4ky It's not an excuse but I read that he actually improvised on every solo and he had to learn them again for the lives. Not very bad for improvisations

Thanks as always for your lessons Chris. Another solo I've been trying to get down! I usually don't do requests since I'm sure you've got a good amount of planned lessons on the back burner but I'll do it anyway since it's a solo I've been wanting to learn forever and can't seem to get quite right -- the epic solo from John Mayer's version of "Bold As Love". It's just so melodic and bluesy, and I remember you doing some excellent lessons on some Jimi and SRV solos some time ago. It's nice to shred but you also got me learning some very tasty, bluesy solos.

Hey Chris, just wanted to say thanks for doing MetallicA solos, your videos saved me hours ! Especially the Blackened solo, some parts were impossible to learn using Guitar Pro but your video is easy to follow and understand and with a bit of practice I can finally (sort of) play it ! :)

realised I'm trash after just playing and not actually practising for the past 10+ years. can bang out a handful of my favourite songs and come up with a cool riff once in a while. but ask me to write a song or improvise during a jam and yeah. ersh. back to the basics. starting with metallica solos.
