Although I hope there is so much more to come from Christian and Olli, it is great for future viewers to have these classic episodes as examples of what could and should be, when at times they think it not possible.

Well, there was a little bit of that right after Christian was released from the hospital. They were starting to get it on while on the sofa, but Christian had a panic attack. Olli told him that they could take it slowly & wait until Christian was ready.

Correct. Jo was gone in February and back at work in early March. Episodes are filmed approximately three months before they air on TV.

LOVE the scene in the hallway so much, the dialogue was really great and esp. the 'I don't want a zombie, I want Olli' from Christian and the look on his face - just makes me smile sooooooo much!! and the hand holding too, naturlich! Just beautiful! Love the song playing in the background in NL and the lyrics are perfect - 'All that you need......is right here, right beside you' - and the kiss, wow - the teasing one with Rebecca....

Oh good Lord, this is such a awesome last-for-just-a-while episode. I loved it, I love the cuttie faces scenes and the so cute love looks between Thore and Jo. So Charlie never turned up ey? One of my favourite scenes! I love the moment when they're in the flat, almost before the kiss, when Olli does that nose brush thing (uber cute) and then Christian just looks at him in that unique way. Very funny! I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps they started in the bedroom, went to the kitchen for some sustenance and then round 2 was in the living room. I also thought it was funny that Christian told Olli to go downstairs and talk to Rebecca because she wasn't there when Christian came upstairs.

When I re-watched this today I realized that I think the writers were commenting on the Chrolli storyline when Olli said that he could use his time off to concentrate on their relationship and then said they would eat breakfast and dinner together and pick out their tombstones. For writers happy relationships are boring because there is no conflict. But they also followed up later with Christian making a joke about them having another "big crisis" since that is usually their pattern.

Christian is truly in love with Olli. All he needs is Olli to make him happy, and he will sacrifice his own wants to make sure his man is happy. Olli on the other hand loves the idea of being in love with Christian. He needs material things to make him happy.

Jo didn't leave VL. He was taking time off/vacation like every actor does from time to time. And he had projects aside from VL before. It's up to the writers/producers, of course, to give them another SL. And the moments of kisses, a honest conversation and the couch scene we got in this episode: AWESOME!!!

I agree! Writers are always trying to play up the anticipation in a relationship. It isn't as interesting after the couple get together but the VL writers let an opportunity slip by. They could have had Christian and Olli longing to be intimate and not being able to until Christian is better. That kind of longing is really compelling and Jo and Thore play it well.

Continuity is not always one of VL's strong points. Their wedding night was swept under the rug. We only know that their 2nd. marriage was "consummated" from a phone call Olli made to Charlie. We don't really know whether they've been making love since. Initially, Olli wouldn't let Christian lift or carry anything, yet not long after when they took off for Meppen it was Christian carrying all the luggage. And whatever happened to the Nordic walking that was such a big deal for 1-2 episodes?

Not going to spend ages going through 8 pages of comments (which it tells me there is), but with them talking about new ventures when Ollie gets back, are they thinking of writing them out the series? I know from watching lots of stuff that writers do things like that because it is 'good drama' or 'there are not more stories left'. Probably why No Limits has gone - get a new storyline. I think we were lucky they didn't kill Christian with that heart attack. I actually expected that at the time.

Unfortunately, that's the only way for writers to give them more screen-time together. If their relationship is solid as a rock then we'll barely see them on-screen. For instance, Chryed (Christian and Syed), now they're back after two months of hiatus since the last scene they had together ended on a happy note. That's how it’s always been done in soaps. It gives writers time to cook up some new delicious storylines.

What was that strange little conversation about between Olli & Rebecca that Christian walked up & chimed in on & that ended in that crooked kiss between Christian & Olli? Olli told her that Christian didn't know about his decision to model when clearly he did because they'd just discussed it & Christian encouraged him to do it. That didn't make sense to me, apart from the fact that every time I hear the word "crisis" I flinch.

FINALLY some sign of life in their relationship! No passion but at least some genuine expressions of love. And, Olli seems to have finally gotten his priorities right where Christian is concerned. Not sure it's such a good idea for Olli to run off for 5 weeks so soon after they've gotten back together, but Jo apparently has other ideas at the moment.This episode REALLY needed to happen. I was getting so tired of Olli's slipping back into bitchy drama queen mode. We had enough of that last yr.
