I mean. They kill a lot of people that are nobodies to them. Just to steal stuff and make money or just because they want to. Kurapika basically only kills people related to the Phantom troupe or criminals.

@@bluebird8221I honestly see what original post means. How can one kill and yet still be ‘good’. It’s as problematic as real life. I don’t believe murderers should be outright killed, as you show a higher humanity called mercy. It’s a concept not many even accept. Remember the phantom troupe started because of a murder which has led to countless other murders. And unfortunately the writer of the show is dying so I don’t think he understands entirely how bad he’s messing up the show further by making the whole trope and reason the troupe starts to end up being solved off screen. It’s poor writing but throughout the show you will see poor writing.

@peacepipe6695 I've read all available chapters. I usually agree with that, but to be fair, there's degrees of evil. Imo killing people for money and to steal stuff is worse then Kurapika's motivation. I want to add that Kurapika put the life of his friends before his vengeance and usually doesn't kill people other than the troupe. The phantom troupe kill more or less indiscriminately if you oppose them. Kurapika is no angel, but overall it's more understandable from his pov than the troupe's imo.
