I know this stuff and it still hurts my brain! Nicely done Roger! (also I saw what you did there)

Had to cut out the part when smoke 💨 came out of my ears when thinking to much about it 😄 (Should have taken down the opacity a bit so it wasn’t that noticeable 🙃)

Lol. I like the way you speak, it’s got a bit off style too it. Good info, I was never sure what these meant.

Thank you 🤗 It’s terms that’s being used every time a new camera hits the market, so I think it’s useful to know 😊

Then the goal of the video is fulfilled 😊👍🏼 So much more to the technical aspects on how cameras work, I only understand a fraction of it 😄 But I think it’s useful to understand the most used terms 😊

Thanks Roger for the clear explanation of chroma subsampling. So if I understand it correctly, the subsampling is just a group of single pixel, so to be more precise, a group of 8 pixels? So a screen is build up by multiple sampling blocks of 8 pixels total? And with for example 4:2:2, two pixels share the same color, but still a different luma value?
@RogerAVHansen Жыл бұрын
Yes 😊👌🏻 But it’s not the screen, it’s the sensor 😊

Can you change from 4:4:4 to 4:0:0 sampling via windows settings?
@RogerAVHansen Жыл бұрын
Do you have a camera that shoots in 4:4:4?
@virathiyam5401 Жыл бұрын
@@RogerAVHansen Nope.. I'm referring to a regular PC setup. Is it changed from the windows settings, the monitor or both?
@RogerAVHansen Жыл бұрын
I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing here.

Couldn't get anything, though I'm a tech person. I even tried it before on wiki, etc, in vain. What's wrong with me?!
@RogerAVHansen3 жыл бұрын
Nothing is wrong with you. Camera tech is difficult to understand.. I also struggle. Try searching for other videos on KZbin with the same topic, maybe someone else has made a video that makes it easier to understand 😊
