Well explained, thanks for the video. The hint below for a rolling paper is awesome too.

I am pleased to say that was the most informative thing I have heard today. Been playing for a couple of years and never truly understood why I was having these problems. I just it was being temperamental. Thanks a lot.

very nice explanation, e excellent hints. I will definitelly try to recup my tenor chromatic, which is too hard to be played, and as it is I have considered it a loss.

Does anyone know of a chromatic harmonica technician in the Chicago area? I play jazz on Hohner and Suzuki instruments and really need a local tech. Thanks.

Hohner does do servicing, you can visit their website us.playhohner.com/service/hohner-service/harmonica-service/#HARMONICAWARRANTY or email at BluesHarmonica.com and I'll forward you Sissy's info.

Here's a hint...I carry a pack of rolling papers in my toolkit. They take up very little space but suck up that moisture. Just don't use the adhesive end of the paper.

Try Seydel. They have a better type of valve. If Hohner is always looking for something new they need to check out Seydel. Hohners valves have always sucked.
