That is glissando, not a cromatic scale. With glissando he only touched the white keys.

It's so different, honestly much easier since the chromatic scale is effectively played at half speed when interspersed with the chord tones

@@josephames3965 As a Chopin fan myself, I will tell you that Liszt is undebatably better than Chopin in terms of technical ability, but Chopin is also a much better composer.

@@ily492 Basically chromatic scale but using both finger 5 and 1 on both hands. It's pretty intense since i've practiced it too. It really tires your hand out and is quite hard on your hand. Just search up "Double octave scale" on yt.
