Unfortunately I don't know what the lack of that function depends on, I can give you alternative solutions: First, create the front part of your graphic (with 3D effect) and export it, then flip the graphic (without the 3d effect), after having flipped it apply the 3d effect and export it, in Blender align and merge them with the command J OR Export your graphics without inflate both sides option, on blender, go to the Modifier Properties section and select "mirror". If you know a little blender this option will solve the problem, but you will have to modify your graphics to adapt it

It could be the bloom effect, try to change the parameters, you will find bloom effect on render properties, under the ambient occlusion option

If you managed to transform your artwork from 2D to 3D in illustrator, and it gives you export error, first you can try to copy and paste your 3D artwork into a new illustrator project, if the problem persists, it could be a path error, if you can't solve it, message me on Instagram (@thazer0), and I'll try to help you

I’m having an issue dragging my vectored design into asset export. It just shows a restricted cursor. edit: one minute later I found a fix, I went back into 3D and Mat tab and scrolled to bottom, clicked export 3d object and it put it in asset export! edit2: another minute later, it says “Unable to export the following files” Can’t seem to get around this edit3: hoy shit 2 minutes later it just randomly worked, after selecting it over and over I went under File > Export Selected and then it worked. I hope the blender part is easier.

is their anyway to improve the topology of the obj? When viewing the object from diffrent angles not even shading smooth helps, the tips just have very bad geometry.

you should use blender's sculpting mode, it's much more complex, but surely you can get any effect you want

Hi, maybe I understood what the problem is, I think I had a similar one too, to solve I exported my graphics from illustrator in SVG (2D) and I created a new illustrator file, I imported the SVG file in the new illustrator project, and then I turned it into 3D, then exported to OBJ file and imported into blender. I hope I was helpful

It’s depends, for this effect you need a vector logo in illustrator, you need to create your logo (draw it on illustrator using the original one), but if you want to use your actually logo and you create it on Ps I think you can’t probably because it’s a vector logo
