CromeOS for me sounds like as debian with kde plasma (wayland session) and waydroid.

The things that is wrong with the chrome box is that it keeps bootlooping which is annoying it happened with my friends iPad and laptop

Just reinstall chromeos flex on it. or Put Linux on it. You already did the hard part of installing Mr Chromebox firmware on it.

Your install got corrupted it's an easy fix I have a Samsung chrome box with a 2nd gen i5 running Gallium OS. Lol
