I waited in vain to find out how to use Chromecast to watch a service not resident on the device, ie, to cast from a smartphone. Too much ridiculous detail about the wrapping and telling us the remote is in the box with a picture of a remote on it. No kidding.

Why on earth does his hands look like that??? That throws off the entire focus of the video! It feels like that's what he's trying to advertise instead of the actual product because he keeps zooming in on his hands more than anyone else usually zooms in. I could not watch to the end.

Tengo un Samsung tv con sistema tizen. Necesito la app vlc en mi tv para poder reproducir archivos en mi tv directamente del disco duro. Si compro un chromecast, instalo vlc y conecto el disco duro al chromecast se puede reproducir las peliculas en 4k????? Necesito ayuda con eso

We are replacing an AppleTV and adding the Google Chromecast to the TV that is in our Airbnb in the downstairs of our house. We want our guests to be able to sign into their own streaming services. This was easy to do with the AppleTV simply by logging out of our Apple account and guests could log into their own account. Will this process be the same with Chromecast? Thanks, Kris in Australia

Hi, I don't have face recognition, so how do you verify that it's you for the gmail email? Where do I find the code to enter, it's numeric. This has been driving me nuts for hours trying to work this part out. It's not my phone lock code either. Hello!!!! SOS

Adding if I entered the phone lock code, the screen message is Signing in to Chromecast with your Google on the screen but it waits waits waits. Then has couldn't sign in. So what is the code please. Thanks

Cannot switch from chromcast to tv and back. How do you do it

There's a button, usually top right hand corner of your tv remote - a rectangular icon with an arrow entering it. Pressing this enables you to toggle between 1. Your tv 2. Your Chromecast 3. HDMI etc...
