20:21 while this looks stunning the problem is that iridescence often just depends on the angle of view, right? So just randomly distributing is makes it look cool but too random. Is there a way to somehow map this to some angle such as the normal map of the model?

How would you apply the iridescence in the updated version of Blender? I followed all the steps the same, obviously using the mix node as there's no more mix RGB, but the effect wouldn't apply. I'm guessing it's because of the new settings.

He does it very quickly, but the 3 spheres in the top-right corner, click viewport shading (just above the coloured z,y and x axis)
