I just had a lidocaine injection after my gastroentonologist (sp?) diagnosed me. They thought it might be my gallbladder and so that was removed. The pain was still there and going strong after 7 months. Finally I was sent to the gastro doctor who caught it. I'm thrilled to say that I'm without pain!! The injection barely hurt and the pain relief was immediate. I eat whole, raw vegan and do yoga, swim and walk regular so there were no lifestyle changes to be made thankfully.

I have had right side pain for about 7 years. Pain radiates/travels a bit, some days are worse than others. I think giving birth triggered it. I’ve had so many blood tests, scans and x-rays. All show nothing wrong. This morning the pain has been radiating down my thigh a bit. It made me think this has got be nerve related. I did some research and discovered ACNES (I’ve never heard of it). But my symptoms seem to fit exactly. I’m super excited that I may have finally solved this medical mystery of mine. I’ll be making an appointment with my Primary Dr., hoping to be pain free soon. I’m a 44 year old Female. Normal weight, average height. I had my gall bladder removed 4 years ago, due to a stone found. I thought my side pain was gall bladder related, it was not. I’m grateful I discovered it. Got to be your own health advocate and Detective.
@SHEvans4 жыл бұрын
It is so sad they just assume it's gallbladder and take it out. There are long term effects they do not tell you about from not having a gallbladder - please look into taking a bile salt - your body does not digest A, D, E, and K well or your fats without a gallbladder. It can take 10 years off of your life but of course the doctors will deny this. Anyhow - yes please continue to be your own detective. If I had put my health in the hands of the doctors they would have destroyed my immune system. (long story and I will not bore you with it). I am healthcare professional myself which has helped me a great deal. Please people do not let them take your gallbladder unless they are sure that is the cause of the pain. A few gallstones do not cause much, if any, pain.

Okay hear me out. I've been to the doctor with a problem that is very similar to this description. My doctor said it's probably ACNES. 1,5 years, but the last 2 months were the most painful. In the morning it's at its peak. The pain increases when trying to bend over, the more I bent over, the sharper the pain in the left side of my belly got. But NOW it's almost gone! It's gone fore 95% and it will be gone for 100% very soon! This is what I did. (I don't know if it's working for everybody, but hear my story) 1. Don't let it ruïn your will to excercise/do sports, still do it. Even if the pain is worse the day after. I even did oblique exercise, while the pain is somewhere in the obliques area. 2. Stretch your whole body daily and never forget to stretch the area of pain too. 3. Eat a lot of different vegetables in large amounts, 3-5 times a week (I ate a lot of bell sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, courgette, carrot, green beans) Not 1 type of vegetable a day, no I ate 4 different vegs in large amounts in 1 day. 4. As a former vegetarian I started eating chicken again, in moderation. Not too much, but just in case I was missing any nutrient. 5. Pray to God, be open for his works of wonders through your vessel and don't lose faith. 6. STOP SMOKING > for your overall body health, but also as a message for yourself and to God that you take care of your vessel instead of destroying it. Praying for healing, but still smoking is contradictionary. 7. Fasting. I did a 46hr waterfast and a 55hr waterfast recently. I was aiming for something called "autophagy", go and youtube the words: fasting autophagy 8. Take Vitamin D I don't know if this was my cure and if this is going to be your cure. BUT 1 week after my fasting and after a year of this lifestyle, I can say that my body is healing.. the problem that seemed like ACNES is almost totally gone in a natural way! I HOPE this can help someone out, please let me and other people know if it did. Take care everybody, may all our aches disappear!

Hallo, My husband did a laparoscopy in 2017. Afterwards he felt excruciating pain on the right side of the navel which stopped in the lying position, Irritable colon syndromes including gas and constipation, a nerve that beats hard on the right side of the navel, loss of appetite. All the examinations are negative (rmi ct scan, endoscopie,..), and they diagnosed ACNES.He was at the pain clinic for injection and he put one electric belt and no results, after years of suffering we discover that this syndrome has existed for decades in North African countries and India. They call it falling navel syndrome or falling belly. Finaly he goes to a physiotherapist for chinese cuping, te return the navel nerves to its Original place. I hope it's going te help patients who have the same syndrome. Because it's not humain te let people suffer like this.

I find myself continuously re-aggravating it after doing anything which even slightly stretches my abdomen and have thus decided to go for the injection. Should I follow up the injections with PT/massage or just try and let it heal up? Should I wear an abdominal binder or something? Also will I have have to get repeated injections and do they inhibit the natural healing process? Thanks, any information would be much appreciated!!!

He was the 4th doctor I had seen about it. Hello, I have a question. I have had so many tests at the hospital for my unexplainable abdominal pain. But all tests came out clear. They thought I had gallstones wich was not the case. I have a very annoying pinching pain where my upper abs are. I can easily trigger the pain with just a light touch of my finger. If I tighten my abs it's even more easy to trigger the "painful point". Is it possible to have acnes on both sides and more than just one place? Would really appreciate if someone could educate me a little bit further about this. I've been going in and out the docter's practise and hospitals for almost a year now and feel hopeless. It feels like There are multiple bruises but no bruise! Somebody help me. Please.
