My sister and I both have CIRS. We are having muscle fasciculations all over our bodies. Mine are mostly lower legs and feet. We both had horrible bouts with COVID at the same time. Help! What do we do!?!?

Same. Have terrible long covid and so many symptoms match! Doctors are not addressing my concerns. It’s very difficult. Thank you for putting out this video.

I was diagnosed with CIRS but the practitioner moved. I have been suffering for a decade ever since exposure to aspergillus at high levels … it’s not affecting my brain and regular doctors have no idea how to look at the symptoms as a whole and figure it out. I have low adrenal function and high Rheumatoid numbers . My list of symptoms at the primary doctor is so vast buries me . All he knows how to do is refer me and I never end up with any things being solved but more blood tests and more proof I’m messed up. Does this NP do televisits

I can definitely relate because I was exposed to mold for 5 yrs and didn’t know what was wrong went to so many doctors and they couldn’t tell me then when I googled I found out about cirs and mentioned it to my doctor she had a confused look like what is that I’ve never heard of it and she also told me that’s not what’s going on with my body but never ordered any blood work they don’t even believe that mold can make you severely ill I almost died from it and she passed it off as simple allergies she even went as far as saying that she know what she’s talking about but have no expertise in mold they never learned about it in medical school iam so over it I don’t know what to do because I’m still suffering even though I no longer live in the toxic environment 😢

I am on antibiotics for skin rash on leg, but i think i have this - due to mold in our apartment that we moved onto less than a year ago. I have many symtoms you mentioned. We ar getting a dehumidifier soon and i am wondering what binder to buy to get rid of toxins. So tired!

Is there any exact info on how to get these tests covered by insurance like she says? What am i missing. When i go to the GENIE test it says its 700.00 dollars! I am desperate for testing on this and i cannot afford that kind of test that is not covered.

I have all of these symptoms and I had them for more than 5 yrs found out the cause was due to mold exposure indirect and direct contact iam still dealing with this and my PCP don’t know what cirs is she said it’s not a real thing 🤦🏽‍♀️ and she’s never heard of it best advice is do not talk to your family practitioner about this because they have no idea and they will not learn about it because they don’t get paid to do so to solve the issue you have to go to a functional medical doctor which can be expensive if your insurance doesn’t pay for it 😢

Dr. Meinhardt is my doctor and is AMAZING! I went to so many doctors before her all telling me they couldn’t figure out what was going on and that I was making all this up. After my first session and some labs, she properly diagnosed me and I have slowly been getting better ever since. Thank you Dr. Meinhardt!

Thanks for sharing. I was just thinking she sounds like a great doctor. I might reach out to see cost for a first appt for my son. Some of the CIRS providers are very expensive, so hoping she's with-in reason.

Government approved protocol, treatment protocol and diagnostic criteria. Why aren’t there medical billing codes?? CIRS can be disabling.
