There can be a situation sometimes where people get oxalate toxicity. Plant oxalates are toxins that are usually digested by certain bacteria in the digestive system. But if you took a lot of antibiotics, that can wipe out the good bacteria, which allows painful oxalate crystals to form, causing urinary or vaginal pain. I have had the same thing for 4 years now…when I get leg pain I get period pains in my legs that stop me from walking - I’ve been referred for a scan but will be seen in November due to NHS backlog! My symptoms have got worse I have been getting night sweats but have to wait for my first appointment which will be November :( paracetamol etc do not help with pain just been told to wait
