One more: I belong to a support group for managing Morgellon’s…a coinfection of Lyme disease where patients are most often told we are delusional at worst- and just ignored at best. I hope you’ll talk about the trauma of seeking medical help and then not being able to find help. When one is alone and suffering in the middle of the night, it’s so hopeless feeling when you reach the point where you find you aren’t going to be taken seriously or helped, let alone even just being hear with some compassion. Thanks for your podcast! Looking forward to more.❤

Will absolutely be talking about this!! It's one of the hardest pillars of living with a chronic illness -- isn't it?!

Thank you for your sharing & caring! I’ve been chronically ill for more than 5 years but in the last 2 have been worse. I have autoimmune issues too and Lyme. My symptoms are almost primarily skin, nose, eyes, & ears. The torture is itching, pain, & crawling sensations. The trauma is from doctors who won’t treat this. Thanks again.

30 years with lyme disease. It's a full body form of cancer. Mimics everything, .look into alpha-gal. There's research to suggest sexually transmitted.

I finally had the "spoons" to finish watching and I'm so glad I did. I loved Not So Sick Chick's and I know I'm going to love this even more. I got hurt at work as a nurse and developed CRPS. Since then, I've also developed Ankylosing Spondylitis and Inflammatory back disease. I've had a sick life also but none of that compares to this time now. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us

Great video; thank you for sharing. I found you on Instagram. I’m from Scotland 🏴 & also am chronically ill with autoimmune nasties including MCTD; which has now been changed to undifferentiated MCTD 🙄 My son works in finance. Looking forward to watching more of your videos x

I cried listening to this. I have lupus vasculitis myofasial pain syndrome and arthritis and diabetes and copd. I wasn't believed and was basically the family disappointment because my mom and 9 older siblings thought I was lazy and a hypochondriac seeking attention. I'm an artist and I named my company Sick Chick Inc. I have friends and relatives and neighbors who think I don't need my wheelchair and that I just need to get up and exercise ect also that I don't understand the value of a dollar or that I just don't want to work and that my husband should make me do everything for myself. That since stress triggers my illness that I'm faking to avoid conflict ect ect my husband was listening and when you mentioned your affinity for softness and your spoons we both looked at each other and laughed and cried at the same time. Thank you for sharing your story because you made me feel like I'm not crazy or alone.

I'm so glad this helped you feel not so alone. I'm here for you!! You are doing ENOUGH, and those that do not understand and fail to show up for you do not deserve your heart

Do you have mercury amalgam fillings and or root canal feet? These can cause inflammation and autoimmune disease.
