Hey party people! When I commented 7 years ago on this post about doing one last show, I didn't think anyone would even notice it since we had been MIA for so long. Here I am, 18 years later from when Time and Time Again was released and it warms our souls still getting messages from you beautiful friends. For anyone wondering, we are all doing well and still great friends. Maybe there will be another show at some point in the next few years when we get the itch and need to scratch it one more time. Thanks to everyone for all of the love. We truly appreciate each and every message.

Barry, I saw you guys at The Icon in Buffalo back in the day (circa 2004). Not only that, I played this CD until my Discman exploded. It got me through many a tough time. The lyrics, instrumentals...the juxtaposition between the different flavors of music...damn. I got at least 30 people hooked on your music back in high school and we all still talk about it to this day. I won't be able to make that show, but I wish I could. You guys are brilliant musicians. Thanks for the many memories. As I write this I'm still listening and it's every bit as relevant today.

I've never seen the music video for this, but it is the most early 2000s video ever. The disgruntled midwest teenage angst, the fucking iraq war. Really takes me back to all the early iraq war flash animation parodies that were all over the internet back in the day. The final chorus of the song just oozes angst. Also I love Burnout 3 Takedown.

It's crazy how deep this song is for the time it was made, it actually shows how the people we are at war with aren't much different than us, they have civilians that want to be happy and do what they want just like we do, when at the time everyone just believed everything the news said and didn't even think about how the majority of people in afghanistan/Iraq are just regular people like you and me trying to get by and live their life.

This song brings so many memories, in particular playing MLB 'O4. The extension of that was working all day managing a deli when I wasn't at college, going home to my apartment, playing that game for an hour until my fiance got home 'round 7:30. We'd have dinner, watch TV (no streaming anything) and she'd bring me a beer, and after TV, late, we'd go to bed and fuck. That was 2002-2004. This song completely crystalizes that memory: I can see her, every inch of my old apartment, and myself at the time. Almost twenty years later, and everything is different: myself, my life, the world, fucking video games (which I'm just too busy to play). I have a child, a completely different job, my student loans are paid, and I never married the girl and haven't spoken to her in over ten years. But this song brings me back to those days. To my college days. To that girl. To that game. Just wonderful. Meanwhile, the fucking Mets still haven't won the World Series.

I think the meaning of the song is that everyone has a deep passion they must pursue. Should they really pursue this path they will encounter the darkest side of there personality but they must over come and be bright in order to get what they want. Many people want very hard achievements and theirs a price to pay for them. In dealing with the price youre darkness you conquered will come out again and by then you will realize (where the lyrics stop but the music video explains) that love from another will keep you in the fight. Stay passionate!

I was 13 when this song came out, I remember watching it on fuse, back before music channels switched to stupid reality tv shows, such a shame, it was fun having friends over and just putting it on the music station and just letting music videos play.
@bothatguyyoudontknow3 жыл бұрын
@@princesssmileyface91 those were the good ol days, I'll tell ya. When they switched to rap 24/7 and then reality shows it made me realize metal/rock isn't as popular as it once was.

I can remember seeing this music video on MTV (back when MTV was cool), in 2004, I was nine or ten years old, and I can remember loving this song. Now, years later, in 2012, I found that it was on one of my old mixed CDs, and now I'm really happy that I found that.

I got babysat when i was around 5 or 6 and my babysitters would watch MTV, i remember this song in particular and it being so great. Here i am today 16, knowing that war is a thing, and it doesn't really stop. This song is still great though.

Burnout 3: Takedown brought a banger and unforgettable soundtrack that is essentially a time capsule for early 2000s punk rock and metal, funny coming from an early 2000s guy myself. I still listen to _Lines in my Face,_ _4 Elements,_ and _This and of That_ every now and then just to feel a sense of nostalgia. This video reeks teenage angst and rebellion with the way it’s presented ranging from the Iraq War and how the main protagonist is presented with his behaviors, giving off that punk look to him. What an extremely underrated band that I sorely miss and hope to see regroup one of these days to bust out some kickass tracks in the future! Thank you, Chronic Future!

This song was given to me by a good friend, especially before enlisting, always had a good place in my heart during my time Thank you CF for the great art, music, and propperly shaping a young mind. Flight of the birds (as at the end of memories in f minor) was a masterpiece, wish yall released it like that. Still listen to CF sometimes, sadly im not American, so never would get to check a tour :(

Chefmaks It works, but needs a very good computer to play at least 30 fps. I would not say very good, since the program needs more processing resources than internal memory.
@WellingtonSinceridades9 жыл бұрын
***** Anyway, you need a PC with a processor of at least 4 cores. Dual-cores do not work very well.

How many times I rekt myself thinking I could take a bigger stair than I was ready for on my skateboard....And introducing my "at the time" crew to this band....I was the dork listening to the "soft sh*t", but when really, it was "zen." Sadly, none of us did anything worth recording. But this album will always bring me back to that "hope." So, y'all in the band? As long as I can listen to these tracks, I'll think I can actually do something. Even until my best goal is to "reanimate and scratch out of the coffin." Thank You, for being the best thing nobody understands that they don't deserve.

I remember seeing this on FUSE back in the summer of 2004. It's easy to forget now, but even mild dissent against Bush and the War on Iraq like this was very rare on American television for quite a few years after 9-11.

I have a tape of MTV from 8-4-04. They segued from Chronic Future - Time & Time Again into Why by Jadakiss. I don’t know if the segue was intentional but it really showed the time we were in.

Haters gonna hate. Do your fucking thing. I bet none of these cunts did nothing more in their stints of "political activism" other than make angry internet comments. I wanted to be in the military before the wars happened. The citizens are just as guilty because the did nothing to stop the war, the military is a tool of the citizenry, yet the citizenry was too busy at the mall to stop wars that they think are unjust.
