Eminem was the first rapper I've ever heard, back when I was a kid. And 50 Cent's The Massacre was the first CD I ever bought with my own money. To me, both of them are the greatest of all time, because both of them introduced me to rap genre. Both of them are extremely talented, they just have a different style. The thing that makes me say Eminem is the GOAT is not only because of how good he is but because of the insane amount of work he has put into his career. People often think give due, sincere respect to others, especially in any profession that can be very competitive, would lower your own value/respect in the eyes of the audience through relativity. But it's not a zero sum game, respect is not money or time. Everyone can benefit. (rare cases occur like mayweather chose to take on the role of a villian, but this is very specific circumstances and is 1 in a billion exception, not the norm). This rings the same tone as Tiger woods, who is mostly of African descent with a mix of asian, native american, and even caucasian. We all know golf is not exactly the game for everyone.
