Hey, I've really enjoyed all of your playthroughs of Uprising: Curse of the Last Emperor, so I'm thrilled to see you now doing one of my OTHER favorite game in the world! At my house we've played through the main campaign of CoD twice (including all of the expansion content up to that point). We love it! We've now played all of the heroes at least once (sometimes in one-off missions) and they're all a lot of fun. My personal favorite hero is Sun, because the monk is always my favorite. My Apocalypse & Awakenings pledge just arrived and we're just a couple of missions into the Awakenings campaign.

It's funny you said Sun the monk is your favorite because someone else just mentioned that character as well. I'll have to give them a shot if I have it. I love drunagor and the cube system is stellar. I am going through the campaign as well, up to chapter 9 I think.

I'm really digging the cube system, it's been fun planning out the strategies and figuring out synergies between the characters. That's awesome you're up to chapter 9! What characters are you using? Any favorites?

@@BrewsandBoardgamesMe and my friends have been trying out different ones, but there are definitely some favourites, Sun the monk is a beast. the little rules are always so hard to remember in dungeon crawlers, like when a monster can attack with cleave and hit 2 or stay in darkness and hit 1 hero , i think the priority is to the multi attack, and I am sure I mess up the darkness spawning rules most games lol

@@coreyellis378 Awesome, I'm going to have to give Sun a try. Someone else also just mentioned the monk. We;; good to hear I'm probably not the only one messing up the darkness stuff haha. It's hard to get everything right man, trying to remember all the keywords on top of certain interactions. Some things are just going to slip by, especially if it's still a newer game to you. I just try my best, hope its right and have fun lol. Thanks for the comment man, look forward to chatting in the future!

@@BrewsandBoardgames Have it all unfortunately have a little issue with be a completist. 98% 0f my 40 + games are complete. My poor wallet and wife lol. Keep up the great playthroughs.

When it's the Cultists turn, why do you place the first darkness at his location? The door doesn't say so. I am confused about the wording of this door.

I believe because the scenario is having the Cultist summon it due to the wording of the door. I also watched another playthrough of it and they did the same thing.

@@BrewsandBoardgames turned out its in the 3 page errata that a sentence is missing, it is correctly worded in the errata.
