Those puppies are sooooooooo cute!!! Mama has raised a good, evenly sized litter. I always love watching your videos. I enjoy it when the cows start "talking", I've always wished I could speak "cow".....lol.

Hey Kayla, You use what you have on hand to get the job done, I can relate to that. it is that way around here. On a sad Note, We lost our beloved Jackie on Friday. She was our 29 year old Quarter horse we had for 24 years. I might have told you about her. She the one that was snake bit, At least our Vet thinks so. She went down hill very fast and made the right choice to free her to go and graze in greener pastures. I am heart broken to say the least, Not the same going to the barn now. But I have 3 others to take care of. Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing.

@@ChroniclesofKayla Thank you Kayla, Been a very hard few days. Jackie is not calling to me when I walk of the house. Like they say, Time heals all wounds, Like hell it does, Because it doesn't.

I love how you talk to the cows. The proper way to handle things. Great sense of humor goes a long way. Somebody could sponsor you for advertising purpose. Prefert or one of them.

They always go better when sweet talked... but then you can always catch more flies with honey. Or that’s what I grew up knowing 💚 thanks for watching & the support.

I liked to calve in March give or take a month. It doesn't subject them to the extreme cold and they sell in the fall and don't need to be fed over winter.

your babies, they get that way, our Bison don't ever get that way except for green apples, then they let ya touch them, but they are a lot quieter, we always move any stock on horseback

Ours may be a little spoiled - but it takes time. A lot of time ... some of those girls have been with us from the beginning in 2018 when we first started getting cows. And I can guarantee they didn’t let us near them then!

Great Jog with the cars. Pellets and / or shelled corn with molasses was a favorite to help make or cows dossel or moving them around. They love sweet feed. Great 👍 Video!! The fields are very pretty. Hope that calving in Jan thru March works for y’all. The Sonne Farms UTube Channel folks seemed to be very successful at timing of there calving season.

We really like calving when it’s cooler/winter temps. Jason and I have more time to focus on the herd than right now. There’s so many reasons we chose to go this route. Our last fall calving has started and it’s been a bit of a rough one for us this go aorund.

All l have is a narrow pen with several gates. It sits between the main pen and a small pen. It works to desperate cattle for me.

You had a great chance to spray those cows down for flies you need to watch a Sonne Farms video on how to spray down cows and save them from all those flies feel bad for those poor things!

We watch all of theirs!! We did spray ours down - just didn’t get it on video! Flies are awful after it rains -

A lot of the cows seemed to have the 'scours.' Is it concerning or just doesn't look so good? Love your vids!
@ChroniclesofKayla3 жыл бұрын
Non concern for us - our cows are loose because of how rich the grass is! We supplement with dry matter hay when needed. But otherwise our ladies are jus enjoying some really lush grass
