I'm just finishing up the Sorrel sweater by Wool and Pine. It's got some variation in it where you can hold fuzz with fingering, fade, do solids etc. and it has a dip stitch in the yoke for a bit of learning. I've really enjoyed it!

Jen, I've made both the Siri and the Spot. Spot is great for a colorwork class bc the longest float is only 5 stitches long, and the sleeves are wide enough to be manageable. Plus, students can have fun changing up the CC, or even trying to do a fade/use minis. The Siri is a great first cable sweater knit because all sizes start with the same number of stitches, followed by regular raglan increases until your hit your bust size. Would also be great for your students to figure out which amount of ease fits their body best. However, the two cable motifs cross at different intervals.

Love all your projects. Amanda I yelled at my iPad that you need 18 on each side not 24 . I was working on my Feb square this morning while watching you lovely ladies.

@Amanda, on your blanket square you said you needed to start the centre colour when you had 72sts & thought you had when there were 24 on each side. 😊You forgot that it's a square 72÷4=18. But you now have a design feature. 😊 I love your Hooked on Grannie squares ❤❤

Fun new format! I just bought the new Joji Locatelli cardigan pattern Take Your Time and think that would be an amazing pattern for the sweater class - it’s stripey and fun. I also love the Esther Jacket. I can’t wait to see what you decide

I would also suggest an Elizabeth Doherty sweater. I have made the Calyx and the Sian. Both are excellent.
