元々クロノシリーズのBGMが好きでしたが、偶々見つけたサムネで惹かれ、再生して5秒後には登録してました。 国や文化は違えども、各地の民族音楽には「原点」というモノが根底にあるからなのか、聞き馴染みがないものでも郷愁を感じるというか、過ぎ去った日々を思い返して黄昏る感じ…と言えば良いのかな？そう言った一言では中々言い表せないようなものが心の底から浮かび上がってくる気がします。 この組み合わせは私には刺さりすぎますw

I don't really know how to describe how much I enjoy this, but I'll give it a try. Listening to this is is almost a spiritual experience. When my mood is at a seething boil of stress, listening to this Chrono Trigger music causes it all to drain in the space of a few moments, and I feel as though I've grown lighter. The expression, "Just close your eyes and let it wash over you" seems to be appropriate for how this makes me feel. The subtle mix of determination and progression is absolutely fantastic. This is the calm moment before a storm, the moment of concentration before undertaking a difficult task with expertise borne of long hours of practice, the payoff at of a long rest after months of work. This is a balm for the soul, and is as a moment of rest in the eye of surging hurricane. Chrono Trigger music is amazing. I often go looking for new arrangements, mixes, etc - they always make me feel better, and this selection is no exception. This is easily one of my favorites. I would love to know if this is just a result of my time spent in this game during such an impressionable period in my life, or just the masterful composition and execution of each piece. Likely both. I have read that if art is how we decorate space - than Music is how we decorate time. This is both. This is beauty for the ages. Thank you for sharing this arrangement.

All of these are unique and beautiful in their own ways, but I have to give a shout-out to Home Guldove. I had forgotten how sweet and heartwarming its theme is, but this cover really brings it out. Also, great background image selections, especially for that one and Termina!

🤣🤣 Isn't Serge's village!! I fondly remember waking up in his bed and he opens the curtains to let the beautiful streams of sunlight in, and then we walk passed his mom cooking and out into his cozy fisherman village, such beauty and heart this game has, they definitely do not make rpgs let along games like this anymore. Timeless Chrono Cross and it's many beautiful renditions will always have a special place in our hearts.

@@mutalix Oh absolutely, I didn't mean to leave out Arni and its theme, I just thought it went without saying how sweet and heartwarming it is. Guldove's theme doesn't get remembered much from what I've seen (I had forgotten it myself, as I said) but Arni is talked about a lot and there are lots of remixes of its theme. But yes, so much to love about Cross and its music!
