Made my eyes water for some reason. Listening to this medley for the first time. I thought I had already listened to all Chrono Trigger music in existence already. I guess it's because if he finds the music to be full of joy, I can't imagine the emotions he would feel if he immersed himself into the world of Chrono Trigger through to completion. And THEN listen to this. OstilMusic's rendition of this classic time piece brings me back 20 years to my childhood, and the feeling never goes away, no matter how many times I hear these similar piano keys being hit. Pure joy indeed.... :')

i'm 39, grew up with the NES and the majority of the best video game songs come from RPGs. I beat the original Final Fantasy over 30 times. My favorite was Dragon Warrior IV... which we know as Dragon Quest 4 now. I played that game so much and loved that it basically had 5 RPGs in one with the 5 chapters. But the music alone was a reason to play the over and over again. I recently beat Dragon Quest Builders and the music was one of the best parts! So much Nostalgia! I'm hundreds of hours in and about to beat DQ11s soon. But Chrono Trigger easily has some of the best music, and gameplay, of any RPG ever. Easily thee Best RPG ever.

Another great Chrono Trigger cover that i love is a Acid Jazz album I bought over two decades ago. Definitely a different take on the songs... You can google it to find out more, but it was the brainchild of Mitsuda a programmer on Chrono Trigger. The first track is easily the best one on the album. Why I love this game: Chrono gets blamed for everything in a evil world. Marla gets treated like a child and trapped by royal rules. Luca had a terrible fate with her mother and keeps pursuing science. Robo is rejected by all the other robots and born in a ruined future. Magus is been born around death and pure evil and darkness...Frog lost his best friend and deformed...Yet...they all fight, for their future and the planet. And, together, sharing each other burden and sadness, they go on ...Chrono's sacrifice was probably the best scene for me. Not one of them just gave up and hated life...no matter what! It was so cheesy. Even if they visited the future and saw it was bleak, and visited the past and saw this problem has been around for over thousands of years old...no matter if they saw their present day get smashed by lavos...they were the little light of hope in all the darkness. And, they kicked the alien , life sucking monster inside. Because lavos represented selfishness, self preservation, carelessness, apathy, disregard for life or anything other then its own need. Chronos and is his pals...fought for each other.

@@AerowynTyr Tbf Crono and the others are proof to her that no matter how hard it gets, things will work out and humanity will survive. It definitely fuckin sucks, but she at least has a bright side to look at. If they don't succeed everyone else's bright side turns into "and then the world ended forever." It definitely takes a lot of heart, but idk to me frog is the strongest character. Obviously that's just my opinion and how I would look at things. Ok, I have heard many renditions of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy music many of times (rightfully so since they are my favorite games). Never has one went so smoothly and pieced together that you feel the emotion in each key stroke. You are in complete sync with how the original composers Mitsuda and Uematsu intended the music to be felt. I love your medley. I look forward to hearing more of what you put together in the future. Thank you for the this gift.
