Beat this game for the first time yesterday evening and am in absolute awe with it!! It still remains such a powerful and emotional experience to this very day, will never forget the amazing journey it took me on! I get goosebumps listening to this theme and the entire soundtrack as a whole, it’s simply magical!

I don't. When you remake a game that was already great, then it should be left alone. Otherwise, the consumer will only recognize the remake, with overwritten history added. Thus, forgetting the original.

@@animeloverryan85 not always. People still recognize the original and the remakes of the pokemon games. Plus a remake will let the new generation know that this game exists, and many who are like me will end up playing the original because of the remake. Hell the ff7 remake has done that too. I've talked to many people who played the remake and then went to go play the original.

@@animeloverryan85 people cant always do that. Nintendo is constantly shutting down rom websites and not everyone has the money to get older hardware to get stuff. Yes remasters exist. But they dont always work well. Especially when game companies lose the source files. Which square is very known for. It happened with kh1. It happened with ff8. It definitely happened to chrono Trigger. Plus sometimes a remake ends up being the only way we can get a game. Fire emblem echoes is a remake. Fire emblem shadow dragon is a remake (though we got the original fucking finally) And sometimes a remake can be used to fix things the developers werent happy with. Harvest moon friends of mineral town on gba was a remake of back to nature. Which then got another remake on the switch. Both fixing things they weren't happy with when it came to the original.

I played it on the SNES. It was incredible. A very big part of my childhood. But the music was equally epic, but not as AMAZING as this. This is, IMO, one if the greatest games TO EVER BE CREATED!!!!!! And it's at a time to where it won't come again. It seemed to be so beyond a regular game to me. Chrono Trigger is TIMELESS.
